On Monday, August 27th 2012, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) released new guidelines for physicians regarding uncomplicated obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), a condition where breathing is interrupted during sleep in relation to enlarged tonsils or obesity.
